I don't understand how I am supposed to get to get downtown from lot 402. They force us to go down highland to essen! All I want to do is turn left onto stanford and they block it off!

Obviously there are special circumstances.

I would rather crab walk home than sit in traffic as long as we did last night.

before the game, i was sad that i gave up my season tickets (section 212, nonetheless)...

after the game, as i was already at home, i was happy i did...

the after the game traffic was one of the 3 reasons i gave up the tickets... becoming one of the "seen and be seen" crowd, and giving up a day off with my 3 year old daughter, and now 3 week old son were the other 2 reasons.....

Two young people that live nearby, with bicycles, are more of a special circumstance than the average group of people going to LSU games.

hey don't be mean. Just saying biking isn't the solution for most people. Most people don't go to games alone and with no ice chests or anything.

My dads 85. We load the bikes, park downtown and take the levee. It's great.

Thought the traffic flow was great after the game. Headed down Burbank and hardly hit my brakes until I made it to Siegen & I-10. Worked great for me.

Except I crossed from Burbank to Nicholson at Gardere. No problems at all.

Had we parked at walk ons or front nine (which we were trying for) then we would've sat in that nightmare. Instead, I am grateful that we got sick of waiting in the traffic on Burbank to get there yesterday. It caused us to pay $40 to the people at El Cid so we could just park there and get out of traffic. We left at end of game, walked right to car and turned out on Burbank to head towards highland. Made it to Perkins/highland area in 15 minutes. That $40 was worth every cent since it turns out we didn't have to fight Nicholson for the location.

Nicholson is always pretty bad, but last night it looked terrible until at least 1am on the inrix app.

A lot of the ones that get caught in traffic are the ones that LSU a small fortune for parking so that they can burrow deep into campus .. Always park at the Ag Center and get right out .. Same for last night ..

Park on edge of campus and walk a little .. Map out non-traditional short cuts .. Duhhhh .. Highland and Nicholson will be backed up ..

ETA: blaming it on the police is pretty dumb .. This was literally the 3rd time in LSU football history that a solid 100K+ fans stayed till the end of a game ..

The ramp was closed when I passed by heading towards campus on Acadian. Within 5 minutes, I took a right on Perkins, got on the interstate heading West, got off at the Louise exit, and got right back on the interstate heading East. No wreck. Traffic wasn't even that bad. Unless they managed to fix whatever problem led them to closing the ramps within those 5 minutes, I have no idea why they weren't letting people get on 10.
