Let's say you travel abroad to a country where you don't speak the language
You forget your wallet in your car back in the states.
All you have is a passport.
Your money is only in a local credit union - e.g. LaCapitol.
How do you get on with your travels abroad? What do you do to right the ship.

Take a tip from our Mexican brethren and head to the closest Western Union.

Sucking dick in an alley for $5 is a universal language. You'll be fine.

A man walks down the street
It's a street in a strange world
Maybe it's the Third World
Maybe it's his first time around
He doesn't speak the language
He holds no currency
He is a foreign man
He is surrounded by the sound
The sound
Cattle in the marketplace
Scatterlings and orphanages
He looks around, around
He sees angels in the architecture
Spinning in infinity
He says Amen! and Hallelujah!

Yea but everyone speaks English, so this is irrelevant.

Do you have access to a computer or is this hypothetical scenario occurring in the desert?

If you happen to be in a major city, find the US Embassy.
If not, go to a visitor's center, they will speak English and be able to help you.
Either way you're going to need to have money wired to you, those places can probably help.

No. Everyone does not speak English. You can find an English speaker in any city but in a smaller town you may be SOL in that regard.
We were in Rome recently and had more than one cab driver and server that didn't speak English.

Have family member wire money. Depending on how long you are planning to be there, I'd also have them ship your wallet to the US Embassy.
