Poor pitiful Joe.

He knows he will get his revenge on the fans when the BOS approves his scheme to charge a fee for tailgating.

Not suit up LF7?

Start Shep at QB.

At half-time put T-bob at mid-field with a mick and let him finally explain what happened before the game on 1/9/12.

Let Coach O wrestle a bear after the game.

That our Athletic department will essentially make zero profit on. Every single dollar past expenses is going back to USCe. It should be their AD busting his arse to make changes.

You want to stick on the business topic, Alleva has no financial incentive to put butts in the seats.

What? He's saying it's less than he wanted to "give them". Them being South Carolina. You know South Carolina gets ticket revenue for their own damn game right?

What is he supposed to do? He cant change prices and I have feeling his hands are tied with incentives due to everything having to basically be run through and approved by USCe.

We can only speculate about how this all went down but he could have explained this market to them. He knows where his season ticket ticket holders travel from and that it was likely most of them had some plans for the weekend. Also the fact that it is not an attractive game.

The pricing was bad but I'm not sure it would have mattered that much anyway. Half price might have generated 10-15k more.

This was 3 days notice or less depending on how you calculate it.

For the 9999999999999999999999999th time, South Carolina sets the prices. We send them the revenue.

Geez you are such a dumbass. You act like its impossible for usc to decide to lower ticket prices. Do you think there isnt a way for the two athletic departments to communicate with each orher or something?

Did he really say that? Such an inspiring leader.
Agreed. That's a pitiful thing to say. He should be taking a positive spin and thanking those that did buy and just encourage those who haven't yet to do it and just shut up. SMH.

Not if you expect to see a decent college or pro football game in the 21st century.

USCe doesn't care about money, they rather more care about a less than inspiring crowd.

And you act like Joe said no

Their AD should be busting his arse to do anything he can to increase sales, not ours.

I agree with you. He should have know exactly what ticket sales would be.

Games get relocated 5 states away on 3 days notice all the time.

I'm sure they'll sell a lot of tickets Saturday morning once everyone figures out what they're doing for the weekend

Come noon tomorrow, a lot of people around BR will be like, "welp, finished my chores let's go to the game". There will be a healthy walk up crowd, IMO.

No it doesn't.

Baton Rouge and LSU have gotten heaps upon heaps of praise in the national media for how this has been handled.
