Good. F*** CBS--I hope we blow their ratings to shite.
Agreed...frick them.
As much as it sucked to have the move the AU game to 2:30 in that heat, it was EVEN WORSE going back and watching it on TV afterwards to watch the sideline reporter standing next to the thermometer and talking about how the heat could be dangerous.
Really? Well, thanks a shite ton CBS, it was dangerous because YOU frickSTICKS moved it to that time of day. You don't then get to pretend you didn't play a hand in it.
I'm not a CBS 2;30 hater, but that shite deserved to get called out by some in the national press and it never did.

Hopefully not the chick with the deep voice

I think they would go regional coverage like they do with the 2:30 ABC/ESPN2 games

Good question. Minnesota Purdue game was scheduled to be Thom Brennaman (play-by-play), Charles Davis (analysis)

so I'm assuming there is a loophole that allows ESPN to do it? Or maybe they worked it out with CBS?
This. I'm fairly certain a deal was made with CBS for either $$$ or a future date/time for a game they well want.

ESPN bumped several games from their scheduled network to make the move, including Minnesota at Purdue, which was scheduled for that time and channel. It has been moved to ESPNU. At least two other changes included UConn-Central Florida moving from ESPNU to ESPNews and Tulane-Temple, an 11 a.m. kick, moving from ESPNews to ESPNU. Six games were moved according to this.

She's easily the worst part of college football.

No, Beth Mowins is who you're referring to, sh does the early B1G games, my guess would be either Pasch, Griese, and Luginbill (Miss st.) game, or the crew that has Todd Mcshay

Wonder what CBS thinks about this
No doubt they are not happy, but CBS is getting significant compensation from ESPN. Alleva alluded to it on Moscona.
They'll prob get another prime time slot next year. Which would be good for a night game with Alabama in Tiger Stadium.

There must be an Act of God clause allowing them to move the game to around the CBS time without facing penalties
That or ESPN is writing CBS a check
There were tweets about concessions made to CBS yesterday. My guess is that CBS gets a second night game this year or next.
Hopefully it was ESPN making concessions and not LSU

Mark Jones & Rod Gilmore were scheduled to call it before it got moved from Columbia.
I'm guessing they'll probably still be doing the game.

Oh, then you missed out on the best part.
The commentators blantantly attacked LSU fans for their preference of a night kick off.
Talking about how "sick" they are of hearing the complaints, and how "real football fans" enjoy games no matter when they kick off.
They went into it multiple times, and it was a discussion rather than a passing comment.
