I don't understand why in the world we didn't address this position in the off season. We are paying for it desperately now. We have the worst corp in football. There has to be someone we can bring in to help out. These past 2 off seasons have been atrocious.

I'm starting to think the Kenny Stills trade was a mistake. Not sure how Ellerbe is going to perform, but we could have really used Stills this season. None of our guys seem to get any separation from the DBs, and the route running has been pretty atrocious so far. Hoping for some improvement in that area, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

I agree 100%. Seems like we can't get open. Even when protection is good brees has to hold the ball forever because there rec are creating zero separation. Maybe they'll improve but I would like to see us bring in someone

Our WRs haven't gotten separation since 2012. It was pretty cocky to say we could take multiple ps and udfa and turn then into a reliable pass catching unit...maybe they will imorimprove as the season progresses

We have a #2 in Cooks (could be a #1 soon)

And 3 #4's in Snead, Colston, and Coleman.

Drafting Landry and keeping Stills and I think we are 2-0.

Yeah, the Graham trade I always understood. The Stills trade I never got.

As much as we want, Snead is not Lance Moore yet. And Coleman is bad. I watched him more closely this week. He's not good. He's just tall.

Hakeem Nicks must be in really bad shape to not get picked up after his workout. Seems like even 50% of Nicks would help us out.

there's been some saying for years we needed to address WR, yet the consensus here was Brees doesn't need WRs. As it turns out, he very much does.

Deandre Hopkins in this offense? Yeah that would have been nice

Tom Brady works with the same crap we have. Brees just hasn't been himself since the beginning of last year. Although if your going to be a passing team I would like to see a large number 1 wide out.

Coleman is bad

Sure he had a key drop which that one play was bad in Arizona, but last week I don't recall him missing anything and I was at the game and watched him get separation and get open several times and Drew not look or throw his way. I don't know if you were at the game or not, but if you weren't then you probably didn't see him open on TV that much because they don't show all the WR's, but being there live he clearly was open quite often. I'm not saying he's ready for a 1,000 yard season or anything but to suggest that he's bad is simply misinformed. And oh by the way, he's only played in about 4 or so NFL games at this point.

Brady has Gronk, Edelman, LaFell, Dobson, and Amendola. Plus a superior o line. I'd say he's much better off than Bress as far as weapons at his disposal.

Coleman is garbage. Snead is a #4/practice squad guy, Morgan shouldn't even be on the team, Colston can't get open or be relied on anymore and Cook's is at best a #2, but most days a #3.

I don't get why Stills was traded and honestly, Graham either. I don't know what the front office is thinking and why they think these bunch of young inexperienced guys would get the job done. It's embarrassing. I almost want them to sign Nicks and Reggie Wayne or even Randy Moss because honestly, they're all 3 better than what we have at the moment.

our wrs have been terrible for a long time. we have gotten even worse this year though and definitely the worst group in the league. kenny stills wouldnt have made a difference either. he sucks also, evidenced by the 3 catches for 20 yards he has in miami.
