Sorry, boy. I think Miles' taking the air out of the ball in the second quarter, running up the middle into a stacked box on first and second down 90% of the time, seldom using the pass to set up the run, trying to eat up clock with a 14 point lead on the road, then running no-huddle in the 4th quarter, is just BAD COACHING and STUPID.
MSU made adjustments and took what our defense gave them. Smart coaching.
We should not be relying on dropped 2 point conversions, delay of game penalties, and missed field goals to win games.
WE SHOULD HAVE BLOWN STATE OUT. I Love Blowouts!!! Everybody plays! Lots of guys score! I'll watch and savor every second, every time. Go Guice! Go Brossette! Whee!!!
Thank God we won, as Miles nearly blew the game.

Don't talk reason to these guys. They've been getting their arse handed to them all morning but they are stubborn as hell and are going to fall on their sword defending their ridiculous position despite the overwhelming majority considering them window lickers.

BTW, there is nothing "average" bout 104-29 while playing in the SEC either.

The point I was making is they seem to have a problem with people coming on a message board trying to critique the poor play calling in the 2nd half. Making unproductive comments like, "well maybe you should be the coach." Isn't that what message boards are about? They didn't exist when LSU was an average team but I'm sure if they did you would have heard much worse. They don't get that.

nah man. you'd have to have been on the score board to truly understand the hate and vitriol that was being spewed.
general criticism of the playcalling is of course allowed. wanting to fire miles and freaking out isn't.

maybe the case but it doesn't help your cause to tell people they want LSU to lose becaue they are providing construcitve criticism. Can you really not admit that there is a repetitive problem with the play calling and game management? look, I was a student in the early 90's and watched those below average teams and had a hell of a time doing it, but we are a different program now and we should expect great things.

there will always be outliers for or against the issue discussed. throw those comments out, they are a waste of your time but the reality is the majority of people that are huge tiger fans are tired of poor play calling and game management. yes, we won last night and everyone is happy about that, but the concern is that it will come back to bite us in the near future. hope not.

And it won't change. Go back watch the confidence in Harris in the first quarter when he was allowed to throw and mix it up instead of the second half when he was constantly forced into 3rd and obvious. We come out with the first possession and set the tone with 3 runs up the middle and the same exact play at that. Then a 3rd down and give up play and that says it all.
