Jesus. Come back from the f'n ledge. LSU's September and October schedule:

v. Auburn
@ Syracuse
v. Eastern Michigan
@ USCe
v Florida
v W. Kentucky

Auburn almost lost to an FCS team, and their run defense looks atrocious. South Carolina just lost to Kentucky. Florida barely beat ECU. LSU will likely be 7-0 at the end of this stretch if we beat Auburn at home, a game in which we will certainly be favored.

LSU's schedule is Ohio St levels of soft before November. Chill out.

I understand where you're coming from. I remember the dark days of LSU football in the 90's. This current team has the chance to be something special. I'm going to wait and see how things play out. I'm not hitting the panic button like a lot of the posters on this board are doing.

THIS.

this team miiiiiiight have it all. they might not, but there's not many LSU teams with this potential. and last night did nothing but stoke my interest in this team.

we'll see how it plays out. i think the reins will be loosened and we'll grow exponentially throughout the season.

Really don't get the panic. LSU beat a top 25 team on the road, at night in front of very aggressive crowd.
What's equally puzzling is the fact that a young QB who stunk it out his last and only start is suddenly tGOAT and Miles is a fool for not putting the game entirely on his shoulders.
On a weekend when Auburn went to overtime against a Patsy, Arkansas lost to nobody and Tennessee gave up a 17 point lead, LSU is the disappointment?
These fans need a better team and this team needs better fans.

More than simply "entitled", they are college/SEC football mentally challenged.

LSU went to a SEC home stadium of a nationally ranked team with a 19 yr. old QB starting his 2nd game of his career, faced a team with a highly regarded QB, a team that had come to TS the yr. before and pretty much did what they pleased for 55 mins. of the game, and did what was needed for LSU to win.

We had 14 pass attempts. We didn't go conservative in the 4th. We went conservative for the game. We were running the ball for 6 yds a pop. The LSU staff would have been nuts not to keep running the ball when you having that much success and when our own QB is so young and inexperienced.

It was penalties in the 4th and a D which suddenly had no answer for DP that was the real problem in letting State make the game close at the end.

I would suggest we see how the O/Harris develops as the season and Harris matures before we start the cliff jumping, but each to our own.

high expectations like living and dying based on the way in which 18-21 year old boys win an amateur kid's game?

You're obviously just happy with average results. Easy to see from your post. Some people are not happy with that. Right or wrong. They strive for perfection, sometimes to a fault. Celebrate your averageness. I'm sure you sleep well at night. Probably with your mouth open bc you are clearly a mouth breather.

Logic would say the first half would've been the time to run up the middle and let the QB settle in rather than the second half when the QB had already proven capable
