What?

By the way, just because you type the word "fact" doesn't mean it's fact.

Thats a fact.

So should LSU FIRE Les today cause the offense didn't meet your expectations?????

don't be a count on here, for once. You know as well as anyone that I'm a Miles supporter. It's one thing if the offense COULDN'T meet my expectations, it's entirely different if it wasn't ALLOWED to meet

Come on Peej....we have gone back and forth a long time...but you are better than this. I've simply said what he did was unacceptable last night. That said, what the frick can I do about it? A lot of you are shrugging off saying we won.....etc....the kick could easily have gone through the uprights and LSU could have lost that game against a far inferior team that they were in control of.

I disagree....too predictable on offense in the second half.

OK sport....maybe we watched two different teams over the last two weeks. Who are they going to beat? Please tell me. I'm not sure but I think they play Alabama at home...that's another loss at home. They play Ole Miss at home...another loss...that means they will have to win games on the road At Arkansas and at Auburn and at KY. All winnable I suppose....but certainly not gimmes. At best they go 7-5.

I will admit that you were there and saw things more than I could on tv. And they could have done more in the 2nd half as far as opening up the O... And YES... The D was awful the last 10 mns... Looked like chavis all over again... I wish this LSU O could look like Baylor....But we are stuck with what Miles is gonna do.... Be ready for more of it as the season goes on.. I have told you this over and over.. Its frustrating but its just gonna be that way... Hopefully LSU can pull out 8 more wins and get to a decent bowl.......

But there is also something to be said about curbing expectations depending on the situation ... on the road, with a lead, first game, there was plenty of proverbial shite that could have hit the fan had LSU gone all huck it chuck. What would the negatigers be saying if LSU kept the playbook wide open and B.H. throws a pick6 to lose the game?

Why would I expect him to throw a pick 6? Also, this is kind of predicated on us scoring more, which would lessen the impact of a pick 6 (a very rare event anyway).

quote:

Can anyone GUARANTEE a win had we played wide open? NO you cant!

No, I'm saying it's more likely that we win in that scenario than the one we saw yesterday. Also, this is more about what we can expect out of Miles in the future. Is he going to let Harris throw it more than 15 times against Bama? After watching last night, the answer is a resounding frick no. He's going to slam Fournette and company against their ridiculous front 7 repeatedly because he's so risk averse about QBs, it's ridiculous.

quote:

. Conversely Oregon, who is infinitely less conservative, is 0-1. Where would you rather be? These are facts no negatiger can refute.

What? They just went on the road and played a Top 5 team and lost in a great game. What does that have to do with anything?

not unfair. and if he doesn't get harris ready to pass the ball, then LSU will surely lose down the line. i'm not ready to say that he won't loosen the reins as we go.

regardless, i'm not steamed about last night.

If he would have made that field goal we would have lost. Would you be mad then?

You do realize 6 wins is bowl eligible right? You don't think a bowl would take an SEC team like MSU with only 6 wins?

They already have 1 win, add guaranteed wins against NWS, Troy, LaTech, and Kentucky and thats already 5. You are saying the can't win one of their remaining games which include games against apparent mediocrity with the likes of...
