And they treat the gas pump like it's a parking spot. It pisses me off when your at a busy gas station and most of the tanks are taken up by cars not pumping gas. Instead they're buying shite and taking a stroll. I guess that's what I get for buying gas at Walmart.

Its like they buy food daily at the gas station instead of going to make groceries

I work in a grocery store. Some people come there every damn day.

How are fountain drinks trashy? Your saving money on them.

What about the people who buy groceries at Walgreens or CVS?

It's infuriating when all I need is something simple like hydrogen peroxide and some person in front of me has one of those mini-carts overflowing with groceries for the week.

This is just inaccurate. The mark up on Vienna sausages is 28% AT MOST. But don't let the facts get in the way, continue your "I'm smarter than everyone" rant about shite you don't understand. After all, you're the economic genius here!

It's not that paying $0.30 for one item is a big deal. It's consistently paying this extra $0.30 on multiple items multiple days per week throughout the year. Where one trip to the grocery store will save you many multiples of $0.30.

Most of these guys are blue collar bros just taking a quick lunch break. Run in, grab a hot dog and a bag of chips and cheap fountain drink and it's what, like $4? Throw in a can of dip too. It's more appealing to them than bringing their lunch every day.

A lot of those trashy looking people aren't poor considering how well blue collar jobs pay these days.

Poor is a mindset, not an income level.

Impulse control or, more correctly lack thereof.

A wise (and also self-made) wealthy dude told me that he was convinced that if the entire wealth of the world were somehow equally redistributed, within twenty years it would all be distributed back as it is was before. Not necessarily to the same people in the same proportion but the wealth curve distribution would look the same.

Jesus said it: the poors, you will have with you always.

Look at Russia. Twenty-five years after the fall of the Soviet Union, the wealth distribution curve vaguely resembles that of Russia circa 1910.

-$9.00 Shotgun shell cigarette lighters
-$15.00 snow globes
-$13.00 Spritzer fans
-$25.00 iphone chargers
-$$$.00 Convenience store jewelry
-$10.00 ashtrays

ETC....

Lottery tickets are the biggest drains of money on a lot of the poor.
Way more than paying an extra 30 cents for a bag of chips.
I know this, and my state doesn't even have a lottery.

Took me 10 minutes to get through a line this morning because 3 people in a row wanted scratch offs. Ridiculous.

Everything they need is there. Plus chicken strips, tater logs and meat pies.

Ya'll should see a herd of Hispanics buy out a gas station on their lunch break at any random burb in Houston. They will be 8 deep at a register with enough junk food to feed a army and that many more taking naps in the parking lot.
