My dog has got the runs bad, woke me up every 1-2 hrs last night so he could go to the bathroom.

The most common remedy I've seen is don't feed the dog for 12-24 hrs and then give him boiled white rice with chicken broth for a few days. I'm trying that, any body got other tips?

He's drinking plenty of water btw

Take him to the vet or leave him outside.

yeah but if you've done this to the stomach, either your phone has x-ray capability or, you've gutted your dog

Its not exactly clear what you are asking but you did say dog, therefore I'll say the obligatory police.
I'll put him down for you for $20 but that does not include disposal.

My vet always told us to get a can of sweet potatoes and mash them up and mix with a little bit of their dog food. It always worked.

pepto and no food. Also switch his food to a limited ingredient or sensitive systems food.

Canned pumpkin mixed in their food. You can mix the pumpkin with rice as well. My lab gets the shits weekly because she eats everything within reach.

Leave him outside. Watch what he does. I bet he starts eating grass. They do this to settle their stomach.

The rice and pumpkin works. I've also put canned pumpkin in an ice cube tray and frozen it as treats when my beagle had an upset stomach.

Canned pumpkin will help stop the diarrhea, but the dog could havean upset stomach and need to be on a diet of boiled chicken and rice for a few days.

I blow tobacco smoke from my mouth directly into his anus. He's a man dog and I'm a man person, so it's cool.

Pull food for 12 hrs, then give him chicken and rice for at least 2 days, keep his water bowl full and clean. It will pass in a couple days, just went through it with our pup a couple weeks ago.
You can give him a spoon or so of pepto also.
