Anytime my wife and I go to a restaurant we haven't been to before, we always order their onion rings as an appetizer. So far, Chimes has the best rings in BR in our opinion, and second would be Times Grill. How about you?

Maybe not the best but Mike Willies is a solid choice for good rings

I like Pluckers. I'm a fan of thick onion rings.

When Portico was still around, their red onion rings were very good.

See, if more people would have ordered the onion rings, they might still be open

I just had the onion rings at Quaker Steak and Lube in Gonzales last night and they were surprisingly excellent

Yes they are! That golden garlic wing sauce rocks as well.

The sauce they served with ours was called "Louisiana Lickers"...it was pretty good as well.

I'm partial to South of Philly. Brewbachers has some pretty good ones as well.

Brewbacher's are pretty good. I like the Bluebonnet location.

I like the Government Street one. The worst one, by far, was the one by LSU. A small order of onion rings, one time, was literally 2 rings. I can almost make a meal out of a small order of rings at the Government or Gonzales locations.

These two also have great hamburger steak to go with those onion rings.
