False. He was called for delay of game vs UGA and Les yanked him.

Not sure if he ever took a wildcat snap. I do remember him lining up to take one, but a timeout got called b/c he didn't know the play.

He did as a freshman but never threw one if I'm not mistaken

Didn't he do a wildcat look against Moo State in 09 with Charles Scott as the sweep man? Pretty sure it was him and not Jordan, but I could be wrong.

Besides Mike Vick, Russell Shepard had the sickest higlight film coming out of high school. I was so freakin excited when he committed.

I'm going to go with false. I want to say he lined up there once, crowd went wild, then something happened. He either went in motion out if it, there was a penalty, or he called a timeout.

He definitely played Wildcat in MULTIPLE games in 2009. He never threw a pass though.

I'm sure he took at least one in practice, so true.

I remember being so pissed that Les wouldn't unleash the weapon in 09 vs Florida. I had no idea he would do almost nothing his whole career. I'm glad he's found a spot in Tampa though.

What a wasted use of an outstanding recruit

I remember when they used to line him up as a RB. I was at that Auburn game in 2009 when he ripped open this 69-yard run for his first collegiate TD and I knew we had something special.

I saw him in his first scrimmage take 20-30 snaps and complete a few long passes.

True or false: anyone honestly believe Shep would still be in the NFL as a QB?

Perfect wildcat QB that was never utilized in that capacity consistently.

Spencer Ware threw more passes in his career than Shep.
