preach brother S preach.
I loved seeing TQ in attack mode, when a guard as big as him is going to get to the rim its going to cause major problems for other teams.

Brothers, it's going to be a glorious resurrection of LSU basketball. I can hear the galloping hooves of white palomino stallions ushering in the fruition of a million childhood dreams

BROTHERS!!! Anytime LSU basketball is being talked about 12 days prior to the first game of football season...well brothers, you know something special is brewing.
No brother, like a "celebrity all-star game" in LC.
But do not fret, CJJ has already come out and said "players at home will change the complexion of our team and make us more competitive"...Josh Gray will breakout this year, brothers.

Nah like a summer league game with small-time sponsors on the jersies and maybe a prize. Basically one step up from church league. Mainly he was doing it for fun with friends.
NCAA makes it a big deal because you would have guys signing contracts half way around the world in the summer.

The combination of three potential 1st rounders in the starting lineup, plus 4 SEC caliber starters coming off the bench (Gray, Patterson, Sampson and Victor) is exciting.
Epps and Bridgewater look like guys who could be spotted situationally and contribute. Robinson could be gravy.
This team could be special

The spelling of Australia is stupid too.

It's the only way I can tell a basketball thread. Most basketball posters use and indescript title. Then I have to read to figure out it's that sport I don't follow.

Looking forward to the season and some entertaining play. I just wish everyone's expectations weren't so high without any proof yet. Hard to tell anything from the Australian games as they have had so little practice time and Gray and Victor
weren't there.
But one thing that is readily apparent, even before they played the first game, is that we are very short on competent big men. Victor will need to be a great rebounder and also able to stay out of foul trouble to make a difference there.
This team's strength, even more than last year, is getting out in the open court and running. Only problem there is that you have to get a rebound before you can run. The last blowout loss on the tour is very instructive. We got out rebounded 54 to 38. That is huge.
Because we couldn't run much we had to take a lot of jump shots from the guards under duress. Our starting guards, Hornsby, Blakeney and Quarterman were 9 for 36 which is only 25%. Sampson coming off the bench was the only guard who shot well.
We got 7 minutes and no production from Malone, 9 minutes and 2 rebounds from Bridgewater. Epps played 25 minutes and had a terrible night shooting but did get 7 rebounds.
Like I said it is too early to tell much but we will have to do a better job on the boards and shooting than we did this game or we will be in a world of trouble despite Simmons.
