anyone buy a watch from Amazon

Is it legit from the watch maker? Don't want a knock off. I'm sure it is considering amazon has a great reputation

It says it's shipped by and sold by Amazon.
Usually the questionable products are sold by Amazon for some other business.
Also Amazon offers Free Returns on this.

Yep. It was a cheap one, shipped from China. The back arrived cracked, but you couldn't see it unless you took the watch off and you couldn't feel it. I've had it for over a year and the chain band broke where I'd had the band re-sized. I just need to bring it back to the repair shop. Overall, I'm very happy with it. It looks fantastic and I get nothing but compliments on it despite it being like a $20 wind-up.

I've bought a watch from Amazon. No issues. I'd rather get something from Amazon than the manufacturer anyway because you've got amazons customer support if you need it.

I have a citizen eco drive I bought from amazon. No problems. Free shipping and no tax saved about fifty bucks.

It is a very nice looking watch but it seems like converting Japanese time to American time every time you looked at the watch would be more hassle than it's worth.

Orient? Excellent watches. I have a Mako XL and will pick up the GMT soon. All in-house made movements, plenty accurate, and a subsidiary of Seiko.

It isn't like Amazon is some backwater retailer. I don't know if you will get the absolute best deal from amazon. However, I would buy wit confidence that it is what they say, and you can return if it isn't. This is assuming it is actually coming from Amazon.
