And the fact that she's a raging lunatic.

never met her or interacted with her, so I can't say whether she is or not.

Regardless, the male population of reddit weren't too thrilled with her past work history, the lawsuit, and her actions to censor some subs. SO...

Ill consider this a good thing when things change on that website.

If people still get banned for ridiculous things, boards get taken down for hurting the feelz, and major current events get taken down in /r/news to be replaced with what still, racist thing white people are doing now then I will continue to hate that place.

I think "coontown" is at the heart of this.

Your use of male population make it seem like the criticisms of her are solely gender-driven. Obviously that is part of it--considering or lawsuit; however, her and her husband appear to be somewhat incompetent and completly corrupt. They deserve unrelentless criticism for their corrupt actions.

I saw your edit.

I'm a humanist. Not a feminist, not a sexist, and not a misogynist. Just a humanist.

In my line of work, I have the privilege of working with many brilliant, kind, earnest, and hardworking ladies. Women who have achieved success the right way. I'll knight for those women any day (not that they need it, as the manner in which they conduct themselves speaks for them).

Pao is none of those things.

They need to reformat that site. It's too much of a shitstorm of information and hard to navigate.

Seemed like a classic example of someone given charge over a culture she didn't understand, managing with a dictatorial style, and who went all in in the face of a PR backlash.

Redditors are fricking dumb and this won't make a difference in anything. They banned subreddits before this Pao person was CEO. Ive been avoiding that site for the past couple years because of the dumb arse user base there, but I heard about this deal with the fatpeoplehate banning and so I looked into it and it turns out the mods of that sub were harassing the guy who created imgur. Subreddits have been banned for far less than that in the past, but the neckbeards on that site couldn't get over that a female involved in a sexual discrimination lawsuit was the INTERIM ceo and they all lost their shite. Hilarious honestly.

Seriously, if it wasn't for the hot chicks posting nudes, I would avoid reddit like the plague. Most of its users are hardcore liberals who can't wait to pounce on anyone who has a differing view on things. Frustrating to say the least.

They weren't harassing him. He went to the sub and outed himself and bitched and complained about them posting pictures from imgur...a public site. And then he complained and it got shut down. They were just looking for a reason and they finally got one.
