Uh I mean I guess it's good for depth. But shooting less than 40 percent for your career is pretty damn bad

He will be one of the hundreds of NBA players that improved.

Yes. Potentially very good defender. Extremely athletic. But lots of other holes in his game. Got buried in Houston.

He's not a good shooter yet. But he's got excellent defensive potential, very athletic, and has better form than Aminu.

He hit 76% of his FTs which indicates he has some growth in shooting.

He only played 1 year

He's basically a younger corey brewer

Not a slam dunk. Have Brewer, Ariza, Dekker on the wing. Smith is still out there too.

He was picked 32nd overall(nearly an entire round earlier than what you were bitching about)

LATE 2nd rounders are mostly garbage but Borderline 1st rounders? No they have a much higher success rate.

Would love this signing. Already a great perimeter defender and still young enough to develop on offense.

He was taken 32nd, that's practically a 1st, and he got no playing time once he got traded to a playoff team. It's very different than the case you've been making about the Pels wasting #56

He wouldn't even need to be able to shoot to be a big contributor for us. Play D + run the floor and he'll get 20mpg. And he's had stretches of great shooting before. Shot 40% from 3 with Philly last December. After seeing the money being spent early this FA, I wouldn't have freaked out if we used the full MLE (declining each year) on him.

ETA: The only downside for him with us is that he'll be another small SF for us, just like Reke and Qpon. If we manage to bring back everyone from last year + KJ + Darrell Arthur, I will blow each and every one of you. And I'll like it.

WANT, don't care about his offense. His D is good. I watched him alot last yr because I picked him up on my fantasy team for blocks from a small and he goes at it. Scary athletic
