Spinoff: The concept of "soulmate"

Soulmate concept: A person is meant to be with only one other special person.
If soul mate were a reality concept, then most people would end up with someone else other than his/her soulmate. Since it only takes one person to screw up the start a chain reaction.
Sally is meant to be with John. But Sally ends up with Robert. So John is ends up with his wrong soulmate who is Rachel. Rachel's soul mate is Teddy. Etc, etc.
What about people who spouse die and they remarry. So they are willing to marry someone who is not their soulmate?
What about a random 16 year old boy who dies. What happens to his soulmate? She marries some random dude later or she stay single the rest of her life?
There's over 13 billion people on the planet. What's more likely? Everybody picking their soulmate correctly or people just end up with people who they just compatible with.

Everyone is uses this term somehow are divorcees in my experience. Its like they're "soulmates" until they get bored, and jump ship with the quickness.

I think reality is that we have multiple people we could be great matches with. Hopefully you end up with a great match like I did.
I have met women since I met my wife where I suspect we could be just as good as matches, but don't know without having a relationship with them.

It's a total bullshite concept! And I agree, one of my divorced friends has met his soulmate 4 times since his divorce from his first soulmate.

A soulmate is something you develop, it's not a predestined thing. As you share experiences and grow as adults you can absolutely become an inseparable pair of 'souls'. It's just love though, nothing that can't be fricked up.

Its like a slut who refuses to say "lets bang, or lets frick" and only wants to call it "making love".

Love is very real. But it does not conquer all.
Relationships are work. They are hard but the rewards are great.
Life is about finding someone or something you absolutely love and working your arse off to keep it and better it.
More people should know that

I found my soulmate long ago. She reads with me, writes letters for me, puts change in parking meters for me and she even zips up my pants after I pee. She's the best.

Generic term that could apply to various people. You may have multiple "soulmates"

Was once with a girl who tried to suck out my soul with her talented mouth.
I miss that girl. She was a type of soul mate I could believe in.

This.
You make your own "destiny".

I don't really believe in soulmates.
But....due to my faith I think meeting my husband was an answered prayer. I had been fed up with dating and then we met and the rest is history. I don't know what the future holds...but I made vows before God to stay with my husband and I really want to strive to keep those vows until parted by death.
