3 YFT, 11 BFT, 150lb Mako on our overnighter. 6' seas all night

This dude had a hook in him already and what looked to be 300lb test line he broke off.

Parents limited on specks in Dulac Friday/Saturday while I slept in.

Went 6 for 10 on some pretty big gar on jug lines yesterday.

Recap of what I'm heading home with in the K2

My weekend results are that I have decided I need a bigger shop. There is so much random shite around here, I feel like a hoarder, but I actually use a lot of it.

Why do I have a huge fricking box of old nails and one can opener?

That sounds really familiar. Will ask around see if I can connect dots.

Bonus 3 hour tour to the lake with wife and kids just now.
Yes, I can get filets off of them.

It's funny how some days out there I can do so well, and other days I get skunked. That place is funny.

Best weekend I've had in a very long time!!

Started out by driving down to Venice, LA with my brother and a friend. Me and a buddy went diving while 4 others stayed topside and fished. We had excellent weather. Slick seas and a nice breeze to keep it "cool" We finished the day with 12 red snapper and 4 scamp grouper

Hoist Mode [ENGEGED] DISENGEGED

After that perfect day on the water, we packed it up and drove up, over, and down to Montegut to the family camp. During the day we met up with a few friends that have a camp across in Cocodrie and caught a whole mess of crabs. Once night fell we had the boats loaded and bows nocked and heading into the marsh for some redfish. We shot 25 redfish and even the girls were able to stick some after turning the bows down a bit
