Natchez Burning.
I'm torn by it. great story, good writing, good characters, but the white guilt and backhanded christian insults by Iles is really turning me off from it.
I did just finish the Martian and it was fantastic. Especially considering the guy wrote it for fun and was giving it away a few years back.
I just went through my library and pulled out about 30 books that i need to get to. Cussler, Brad Thor, Vince Flynn, David Baldacci, first wheel of time book, killing patton, lincoln, a few S Kings.
If Natchez Burning doesn't stop crapping on everything, i'm going to move on to some of those.

I'm about a quarter of the way through it and I'm really enjoying it so far. As much as I read this is the first time I've read any of his work.
