Anyone set the alarm earlier than when you need to be up for whatever just to make sure you can hit snooze a few times?

Does that 9 extra minutes help you wake up more rested or something?!

You dummies.

No but sleep cycle is the greatest app ever invented. Regular alarm I wake up grouchy and not wanting to get up. Sleep cycle I wake right up feeling extra refreshed.

5 more minutes in the morning means 15 more minutes at night.

I don't hit the snooze button but say I need to wake up at 3:00. I'll set my alarm for 2:50, 2:52, 2:55, 2:58, and 3:00. I guess it's like snoozing but my version of it.

Snooze just helps me lazily get out of bed instead of jumping right up.

Nope.

I usually wake up and just lay there awake for about 15 min.

If I know I dont have to get up and set my alarm I sometime hit the snooze button over 10 times. After the first few times I subconsciously do it.

I have a bad habit of turning my alarm off in my sleep. I have to force myself to get up on the first ring.

I used to snooze every five minutes for about 45 minutes daily... then I got a dog and have to wake up around 6 if I want to avoid cleaning up doggie pee.

My roommate starts his phone alarms at 5, and doesn't get up until 8:30. They go off every half hour

I have my alarm in my bathroom so I actually have to get up and walk to it to turn it off.

My mind wakes up at 6:00 every day no matter what. No alarm needed.

Used to be, but these days I can usually wake up when I need to without it for some reason.

I hit snooze every 5 minutes for about 20 minutes total every morning. I feel it eases me into getting out of bed. Can't break the habit.

Falling asleep after the snooze button is the best sleep ever. It's almost like you're doing something risqué and saying frick the system.
