Haven't owned one in years. The few times I have needed is not enough reason for having to live with a pickup truck.

Well shite, looks like this is going down the path of circumcised vs. uncircumcised, Glock vs. 1911, okra or no okra in gumbo, etc.

In comparison to trucks of the past, I agree. Compared to a car in the same price range...

It like me claiming my JK is luxury because it has features my YJ didn't.

It's funny how in the other thread you are arguing how cheap it was to own your truck for 2 years

I had a truck for 14 years and can probably count on both hands the number of times I truly "needed" it. And I only have 7 fingers.

I sold the truck in January, and while it's only been 6 months, I have yet to miss it for anything.

I'm jealous of the mileage and note of smaller cars, but everything else more than makes up enough reasoning for me to have a truck

Now why I have a KR instead of an XLT is another story, but whatevs

Everyone in the city hates how you park.

You may be surprised to learn that there are businesses that will loan you a vehicle in exchange for money. Crazy business model, I know, but somehow they make it work.

I have no issue with owning a truck. They offer amazing utility and can make life much easier. But Salmon acting like home ownership is impossible without one is just silly.

I know the feels.

I drove cars forever and this F150 is my first. Will never go back. Only reason I justified the KR to myself is I told myself "this is it". I am going to drive this thing into the ground.
