Usually, if you need a truck you need help putting it in the truck.

lol, that's probably one of the dumbest things I've heard today. If your home ownership needs require a pickup truck on a regular basis, you probably bought a piece of shite house that constantly needs work done on it. Why don't you stop being a poor and buy a good house and drive a 4-door luxury sedan like a normal person.

My question to those of you without trucks, do you really find that you need one often and miss having one? What do you do about it?

No.

90% of truck owners don't need a truck for squat. They just like the look.

Same shite with trailers. People will ask you to borrow your trailer 25 times a year, but won't lay down $500 for their own

I'm not going to argue with you.

I just know several guys without trucks and they are annoying as shite with always asking people if they can borrow their truck.

You shouldn't, because you know that's a preposterous statement you're making.

They are probably annoying outside of their need for a truck.

I get annoyed at people asking for help too

Just because none of my inlaws want to own trucks doesn't mean I'm their personal moving service

I still stand by my point that y'all are annoying

I've never pestered anyone to borrow a truck. I think your condescending douche bag attitude is annoying.

I do all sorts of shite on my own. I don't need a truck to do it though.

I made a comment "a lot of people who need to use a truck this often own one"

And they don't ask to borrow it. It's always "I need to borrow your truck"

I always assumed having to lend out their truck was payment for the debt of those same drivers always parking in spots for sedans and compact cars.

Nifty thing called a roof rack.

ETA: There's also this nifty thing called renting a truck for the couple times you really need it. Costs less than $50, and I can guarantee I'm coming out ahead compared to you owning the truck.

I can only remember one instance that I needed a truck, and it was actually to help a friend out. I just borrowed a trailer from my FIL and helped my friend by using that.

I drove a truck while in college, but never really used the bed of it. Since college I've owned a car and a jeep. I don't think I'll ever own a truck.

There are tons of people who get by without trucks, as someone said you can rent them for pretty cheap.
