How many dogs do you have?

OB,
We currently have 2 dogs. Both are smaller breeds and are getting up there in age, so they aren't very active. We have been presented with the opportunity of a 3'rd rescue, but aren't sure if 3 will be that much harder than 2. One of our dogs goes everywhere with us, the other is almost blind so we don't like to take him to unfamiliar places because he runs into everything.
The dog we're looking at is 6-7 months old and is currently in a foster program. He's Malinois/Great Pyrenese mix so he's going to be a monster of a dog. We're pretty pumped about that part because we love big dogs, and it would be a nice security system for the house. I've read up on both breeds and understand that he will require a lot of training and exercise. I'm hoping that having a younger dog in the house will get my other 2 a bit more active.
For those that have gone from 2 to 3 dogs, was it a big change? What am I overlooking?

I have three that range in size and indoor/outdoor. All three have been adopted. The last one was good for our 4 year old dog to start playing more, but all it did was piss our older dog off. The older one despises having the young one around because it bugs the hell out of it.

4, 2 labs ages 9 & 12. 1 beagle & 1 half beagle half dachshund, ages 2 & 3.

Six dogs. GS, Lab Mix, Lab mix, Chihuahua mix, Coyote mix (seriously), French Bulldog. 5/6 are strays/rescues that showed up and never left. ages range from 2-12 YO. Young dogs like to wander which can be taxing. The older dogs just chill around the house and are quite pleasant.

2 for me. A 4 year old beagle and a 3 yr old Beagle/Jack russell. the beagle/jack is a rescue and so greatful to be alive, she tells me everyday.
Honestly though, I dont think i could handle another one unless it didnt shed. I can't deal with anymore dog hair.

2 labs, Yellow that is 13 yrs old and a Black that is 7 yrs old. Daughter wants a Pomsky, cross between a Husky and a Pomeranian. They are cute, look just like a Husky only much smaller (about 25lbs).

2yr rescue (looks like a schnauzer and yorkie mix).
It really was no issue for us at all. The rescue pup came in an got along great with all the others. It's been pretty fun.

We went from having 2 small dogs (wire fox terriers), about a year after one of the passed away, we got 2 GSP pups, the wire fox was really old, she didnt pay much attention to them at all, she ended up passing about 2 after getting them.
After sending the pups to get trained for ducks for few months, we decided to foster a GSP while they were gone, and try and find a family for him, but we ended up adopting him.
I've had big dogs before, but never 3 at once. I don't mind it at all, it does get wild at times when they are wrestling, but its not bad.
