Is a miter saw and table saw high on the list?

Nice to haves. Not necessities.

A man? All of them.
I wish I had a miter and table saw. Would make bookshelves a whole lot easier. They 're definitely on my list when I can afford them.

no......low usage items unless you're a pot-bellied wood worker.

I guess a planer is out of the question then. When you need one you really need one.

Not as high, not that it doesn't have uses.

As far as what every man should have, it should really just be the basics that at some point in their life every man will need around the house. Hammer, screwdrivers, wrench set, possibly a drill.
But I mean if you aren't building shite why would it be necessary to have a table saw?

Hammer, Srewdriver, and Channel Locks along with duct tape.

I just bought myself a miter saw from harbor freight
I do feel more manly and will likely to continue to feel that way for the 6 months that it will work

Why don't they make a 20mm socket? They are impossible to find locally. No kit has them either.

I have both. The table saw hasn't been plugged in since 2009.
The miter saw gets used all the time. It's a bad arse miter saw though.
Bosch dual bevel 12" sliding.

I picked one up at Home Depot for when I changed the front tire on my motorcycle. But they are definitely not easy to find.

planer
Very underrated tool. A planer is the difference between throwing together a table or bookcase that looks decent enough, and making a table or bookcase that is nice enough to be passed down through generations. an heirloom.
