Odell Beckham, Jr.

He plays in the NFL in New York. I don't think it's that close, either. I saw Anthony Davis in the mall the other day, and not a single person walked up to him for a picture. He walked through without being stopped once.

This post is basically an admittance that you stalked AD all the way through the mall.

I mean, it was about a 100-yard stretch. And I was walking the opposite direction of him so it was pretty easy to keep and eye on him.

But yes, I took a picture for snapchat. I am ashamed :/

AD. He won a national championship at Kentucky while sporting a super recognizable unibrow. Now the scope of people knowing of him has grown since he has been in the league.

I think people know more about the catch than who made the catch itself.

AD. He's just had more exposure time. He has been a sensation ever since he was at Kentucky. Beckham was great at LSU but unless you followed CFB closely or are an LSU fan you might not have known him. He has the catch and the madden cover over a relatively short time span. I just think AD has been exposed to more people and he has a face you couldn't forget if you tried.

I'd say AD Obviously not an exact science but for reference AD has about 755 thousand Twitter followers to Beckham's 395 thousand.

Also AD 1.6 million Facebook liked
OBJ 480k likes

And yes you can use social media as evidence. Clear answer is AD.

AD will be the best player in his sport, I don't see that happening for Odell with guys like Rodgers and JJ Watt. There's also Andrew Luck and Russell Wilson who are still young as frick.

Odell is on track to be a superstar, Davis already is one.

Maybe ODB jr

Just personally I know far more people who know he is than Anthony Davis

Anthony Davis will also be the greatest basketball player to ever live too.

I don't know about that, but he has the potential to go down as one of the best ever. I could see it happening (being one of the best). The hype with him isn't just from Louisiana fans, so this statement is pretty overboard. Anyone that has seen him a lot knows he's legit.

Pels will be getting a lot more air time now as well. I'd say around 15-20 nationally televised games, maybe more. I'm including NBA TV.

Yea, it's pretty hard to debate those numbers. Anecdotal evidence like seeing him at the mall not being mobbed and knowing more people who know OBJ isn't quite enough for me.

ODB hands down. AD is the better player and will end up making a lot more money though.

After seeing all the social media stuff I have to say AD. OBJ being on Madden was great, but so was Peyton Hillis.

I don't think those numbers tell the whole story though. the ones that like or follow these guys are fans of that sport most likely. there is a large segment of the population who aren't sports fans but likely have heard of obj from his catch last season. they also have may have heard of AD because of his brow too though. it's a tough call but i'd still say obj because he shut down the internet with that catch. i'm not sure any internet user was able to avoid it

Anthony Davis for sure. And yes social media is absolutely a fair judge, especially when there are overwhelming gaps in followers/likes.
