we are still way too early for thinking hell be one of the top 5 faces of the NFL
It's what fans in Louisiana do.
Anthony Davis will also be the greatest basketball player to ever live too.

Odell Beckham, Jr
I don't follow the NFL or the NBA, but I've heard a lot more about Odell since he left college than I have heard of Davis.

Would the average sports fan in America recognize OBJ if he was just walking down the street?

I don't think you fully grasp the popularity of Madden.

quote:we are just talking about recognition here. yes obj went to lsu but I could not care less how he fares in the nfl unless he plays for the saints. I worship AD and would probably let him touch me inappropriately if he asked but I think it's obj. his catch last year broke the internet so even non fans got wind of who he is. more people follow football than basketball and as someone mentioned earlier a lot more play fantasy football than bball also. I think obj's name has gotten more recognition outside of fans of that sport than AD. AD might have a claim though because of his unibrow, that maybe the only thing keeping him in this race because people might know "the brow"

What are blabbering about? I was saying OBJ wasn't near a top 5 face in the NFL and that yall tend to overhype yalls stars.
You even used my argument for OBJ in an argument against me (which actually isn't against me)

I took it as you were saying if we answering obj to the question it's because we overhype our players. i was giving a reason for saying obj while acknowledging that i don't care about lsu players once they leave lsu unless they are saints. thought i'd give you some more blabber

I'd say AD
Obviously not an exact science but for reference AD has about 755 thousand Twitter followers to Beckham's 395 thousand.

Facial recognition pays more, which is why NBA athletes typically have higher profile endorsement campaigns than NFL guys.

And Caitlyn Jenner just hit 1.5 million on the Twitter account created 5 hours ago.
