How do the Saints let him get out of Louisiana? I think they will come to regret this failure
This shite is like clockwork.
Seriously, what the frick? are you mentally ill? The guy is an individual who makes his own choices. It was confirmed the Saints showed interest. He chose not to sign here. He CHOSE. His loss. Get over it. I knew there was no situation where he signed anywhere else and we didn't get these rantards in here saying the Saints are idiots, despite multiple reports saying he didn't want to play for them.

According to rumors on the Rant (grain of salt), he wanted to get out of South Louisiana. Dallas was the next best thing, I guess.
ETA: Also, there was speculation amongst the Saints beat writers that Collins wanted to not play guard (which he may end up playing in Dallas) and the Saints have stated that they saw him as a guard.

If all of that had happened to me, it would take a large bag of money to keep me in that state.

people don't know what they talking about CSP sent all of the LSU players on the roster on a recruiting trip to baton rouge last night.

I can understand if that was his stance, but the prominent rumor on the Rant a day ago was that he was the father of the baby and was fixing to play for the Angola Cornholers.
And the LSU fanboy stuff if stupid. This is a guy that fit an area of need for us to perfection. It's reasonable to question why he wasn't heavily pursued. Maybe he felt slighted that the Saints didn't draft him after CSP stated he was on their board and felt strongly that he would be taken on day 2. Maybe he told CSP that he was in no way playing in NOLA. Or maybe Payton just didn't want him. He might see something he just didn't like.

All of this could have avoided.
Find a way to trade back into the end of the third round and take him.
Would it have been a calculated risk? Yes.
Would it have worked out in the end? Looks like it would have as of right now.
Would it have given a big middle finger frick you to Frauger Goodell? You bet.
We missed the boat....

You are saying that this wasn't being passed around as fact by posters who said to be in the know?

pretty sure there were hardly any that claimed it as fact that La'El WAS the father. Pretty much everything revolved around La'El being concerned that he possibly was the father.

The only people who claimed to know for a fact what went down were saying this. Everyone else, including myself, called them dumbasses and questioned their "sources". Semantics really, but that was the only rumor being passed around as fact. (By idiots who hopefully are banned) I saw no one state they knew a cop saying Collins was in no way involved. Hell I got Rae Carruth'd more times trying to defend Collins and say I thought there was no way he was involved.
