No other team drafted him, even the Cowboys.
If he wanted to come here, I'm sure we would have taken him. He chose the Cowboys.

but this team is dumb for not drafting him. They should have done it regardless of anything else. That is why this team is on the downslide. Also a QB in the third round that played at Colorado State. Man I am so done with the Saints.

I get that and agree, there was a reason he didn't get drafted at all. But I also believe they should have been the first team to his doorstep. A top 15 talent on UFA money never happens. I'm sure there is a logical explination why the Saints weren't the first team surrounding him after he was cleared being that he was just down the road. I am more responding to the LSSSSSSUUUUUUUUUeeeeeerrrr deeeeeerrrrppppp posters that are making this only about him being from LSU. I would have felt the same if he had dominated college opponents, including future first round picks, at Tulane.
Again, I'm sure there is a good reason. Just sucks that gold was struck today in Baton Rouge and my favorite NFL team wasn't the one to do so. And the fricking Cowboys

Derp yea. The Saints FO should have ignored Collins agent saying he won't sign and would sit out the year if a team drafts his client past the second round.

Yeah. That isn't debatable. Every team except the Cowboys is kicking themselves right now. It's pretty obvious that playing it overly cautious was the wrong move.

Y'all are blaming Loomis for either not drafting him (like every single other GM) or for not going after Collins enough (based on no evidence).
I don't think even Lester would blame Loomis for that, and Lester blames him for bad weather.

Heard 3 teams met with him, Cowboy, Bills, and Dolphins. No Saints who were minutes away from him. Sorry, it just seems off to me.
