Not even worth arguing with you. At least look up the statute before you act like you know what you're talking about.
I just posted the law and bolded the words to make it easy for him I mean holy shite what a terrible law that would be if you didnt have to knowingly possess the stolen goods.

Championship. Heisman. Millions in revenue. FSU is relevant again. And recruiting is even more phenomenal due to Jameis.

You're a 100% correct.

It's only stealing on the employee's part. Trying to put any blame on a "customer" for receiving free goods from an employee is not really appropriate.

BS. If some random employee tells you that you can have something for free, from a store like Publix, you know that's not legit. Winston has a sense of entitlement, that will not serve him well in the NFL.

Receipt of stolen property is a federal crime under 18 U.S.C. § 2315, defined as knowingly receiving, concealing, or disposing of stolen property with a value of at least $5,000 that also constitutes interstate commerce (i.e., has been transported across state lines).

A person can be found guilty of that offense only if all of the following facts are proven:

The person received or concealed or stored or disposed of items of stolen property.
The items were moving as, or constituted a part of, interstate commerce.
The items had a value in excess of $5,000.
The person acted knowingly and willfully.

even so, doesnt this simply get us into a debate over whether winston should have known that publix corporation is not in the business of giving away free crab legs just for the pleasure of having him visit?

even if he wasnt explicitly arranging a heist, i imagine that you could take to a jury a pretty strong case of "how often do store employees tell you to go ahead and take whatever you want and you dont question it"

At the time the video was posted, lots of people on this board were commenting that it looked like this had been done before. The crab legs were put on the counter very routinely.

It's not called stealing. It's called "I got the hook up."
