We found out about it in Season 1. Basically when she was screwing Lancel (he was skinnier with long blonde hair).
Yeah I remember all that and him. I just don't remember the implication that she had something to do with his death.

I still couldn't take Lancel seriously last night. He was such a frickin dork in the first season I can't see him seriously

Also of interest from last night,
The mansion varys and tyrion stayed at is the same one dany was introduced to us at in season 1.
Varys and illyrio (sp) are friends and that is the connection and that is how he knows about Dany

Which pretty much means he will catch the dead. No way Cersai leaves that loose end flapping in the breeze, especially a born again nutjob.

Varys suggested in Season 1 that he was heavy handed on the wine purposefully in order for the deal with the boar to happen.
Tyrion also basically blackmailed Lancel into spying on Ceresi while he's sleeping with her by threatening to reveal that he's been sleeping with her. I want to say he revealed that to Tyrion at that time too but I'm not for sure.

Either that was not the same Lancel or he got cute all of a sudden.

Pretty sure it's the same guy, he just grew into his face
He looks like a young Dolph Lundgren impersonator now

Also on the show Tywin told Tommen that King Robert death was caused by "the final two that killed him"(drinking and hunting) when were with Joeffery's body.

Question for book readers:
I've read that with the books, GRRM has written himself into a corner and that's why the next book is taking so long. Can anyone explain to me the corner he's in? I don't care about being sperled so feel free to give details.
I've also heard that a lot of people have figured out a major plot line and he's pissed and trying to change it. Any insight there? Again, feel free to give details.
Thanks in advance!

We aren't allowed to discuss "that plotline" in this thread.
If its what I think it is. Idk why he'd be mad cause he dropped a shite ton of clues in book1
I feel like the hodor thread mighta discussed this plotline last season but I'm not touching it

I see. Sorry, didn't realize that was off limits.
I'll ask in the book readers thread.
Thanks!

The big one that can be discussed is the Meereenese Knot.
Season 3
Tyrion and Bronn get a few whores to service Poddrick, one of them tells Bronn that she can perform the Meereenese Knot, which is sexual position.
GRRM refered with regard to his writing delays to as the Meereenese Knot
from the Game of Thrones Wiki-
quote:
"Meereenese Knot" was his struggle with how to properly re-integrate all of these major characters, some of whom had never even met before, and how they would interact with each other. Just as Alexander the Great solved the issue of the Gordian Knot by cleaving it in two, Martin solved the problem by separating the story into two volumes

Marking the first and only time George RR Martin has been compared to Alexander the Great.

I'll go ahead and copy this post I made in the Hodor thread here.
I'm tempted to ask the Middle ground thread if Rickon ever will do anything because if not he might be the most useless character in literary history. I mean him and Tommen are close in age, one is king the other is somewhere in the woods with a wilding slut and haven't been seen for two years.
A simple yes or no will do.

Hasn't really been answered yet. I'm speculating, but I feel like he may be alive to continue the Stark name through the male line at some future point, but I certainly can't confirm it yet.

They really aged Tommen's actor up, I guess most viewers didn't want to see a 33 year Natalie Dormer getting it on with an 8 year old. I'm curious to see if they will do the same with Rickon, and replace the actor.
I read one article in October that Rickon would be in this season, two days later another article comes out that he would be in an episode. It will be interesting to see what they do.

I'm caught up in the books, and could ask the same question. Though they added on about five years to Tommen that he shouldn't have.

Bumping for the middle grounders.
