Heading to Houston next week and we are considering going there. Went to the website and that place looks pretty fun.

I think this place would make a killing if they setup shop somewhere between BR and New Orleans. I'm sure it may have been talked about on here before, but i'm just becoming aware of this place.

one of those places where you'd really, truly have to try to not have a good time to do so.

that place just prints money.

NOLA needs one on the site of the old power plant on Tchoups.

If it's too far out of the city it wouldn't be as tempting for me. Unless they bulldozed the Esplanade Mall and put one there.

The FAQ says it does not franchise. Which means its time to start up, "Upper Golf".

Business model calls for it to be in prime area and easy to access from business district. Would have to be somewhere that has land available in a heavily used location. That is the biggest issue in Louisiana.

Hell, weren't they talking about closing down the LSU golf course (or was that just rumor)? Seems like right there you already have most of the work done for you.

Really, the only answer. Only place with enough land, in a location close enough to businesses and enough rich people (and a cruise ship dock and convention center) to work.

Still don't know that we could support it.

TG is pretty much my favorite place in the world. The one in DC is outside the beltway, so I don't think it has to be too close to downtown...

They are, not talking about it. That land belongs to the state though.

The MSB destroyed this idea btw. Those who hate on BR are the same ones who think Top Golf here is a ridiculous idea.

I disagree with them fwiw. It most certainly could work.
