I wonder if he calls his black friends nigg* and feels that it does his race good using it in slang???

I'd say no. Your friend is a damn good MAN.

Don't want to be thought of as a thug. I'm 6'3, 240 with dreads. People assume I'm either a football player or thug. That goes for white and black people.

I don't think people's work is still kept in files to be pulled out and measured like that anymore. Consider me skeptical that you've ever even spoken to a black person.

Ok so what's your point?? I'm asking if he goes around calling other blacks nigg*?? My guess would be a hard working successful black man doesn't do this

The problem with racism today is not your friends inferiority complex. I had a conversation with two white friends and they admitted that the problem with racism today was racist people of any race.

my friend said he still feels insecure, inadequate, and inferior

Which is what has driven him to be so successful. It's a shame he can't see his own worth but it sounds like he's found a way to make his insecurity work for him instead of against him.

Sorry, I've been informed that no one is racist except white people because they hold all the "power".

Speaking of racism, my neighbors hired a black teenager to mow their yard he just ran over three trees they planted last weekend now his mower won't start back up. Am I racist to wonder why in the hell they didn't hire Mexicans?

Only whites can be racist, it's in the fine print of the civil rights act.

Wow. This took off quick. I'm just a little tipsy, venting, and a little emotional about the conversation I just had. I didn't even know what to tell him.

Hell no he doesn't. It went more like, "well, you know...a ***** with a degree."

Tons of black, arabic, white, mexican, etc friends.

Personally, I tend to find that black friends are more loyal than white friends. And most of my black friends gripe about the ignorant acts committed by their race more than this board does.

The friend from the OP is about the realest guy that I know. When we were watching the girl get stomped in the McDonald's video a few weeks ago, another guy that was with us told him, "watch this **** that our people do." The friend from the OP said, "I'm not watching that ****...those aren't my people...my people don't act like that...and they certainly don't post it on the internet thinking that acting like that is cool."

The friend from the OP would disagree. He said that his grandpa would not let white people come to his house. He said he heard his grandpa say f*** white people more than any other words.

I agree with him. Too many people can't get over slavery or pre civil rights mentalities. Until we all ignore color nobody will change. Blacks will hates whites as long as there are reasons to feel inferior.

I was making a point in reference to another thread. But yes you have a good friend that's honest. I hate saying my "black friends" but I agree they do have your back and aren't as pussified as most white men now a days. Or as the OT calls them betas. I cherish the black friends I have.

I don't belive that story for a minute.

But I'm sure there have been inferiority complexes in people throughout history who were not the "dominant" culture - be it from being conquered, transported as labor to another location, or otherwise put into daily contact with another culture who had the "upper hand". Usually evens out over time though.
