I would not be surprised if we trade back a few spots from 31 because someone wants DGB. Hope that doesn't come back to bite us in the arse though.

The real question is whether or not it really matters to you.

I don't want a wide front receiver running around

He's basically another Cooks. We need a bigger guy, bad.

I think we need both. We had our best offense with 2 deep threat burners.

Hopefully our first 3

1. Collins/Dupree/BPA(if someone falls)
2. Jalen strong or Marcus Peters
3. Perryman

I wouldn't mind these picks at all. If Danny is there at 13 I would hope we pick him.

Both those guys were good blockers for run support. I doubt Cooks and Dorsett could do anything close to what Dev and Meach could do in run game support, and given our apparent new emphasis on running, I'm not seeing it.

What round would Dorsett go in? Third I'm guessing or did his Pro Day possibly move him into the second?

With two firsts already and some other extra picks, I wouldn't mind trying to get a second 2nd rounder as well. Don't blow up the future too much, but Brees' window is closing and if we want to get him another ring, we need to acquire some talent.

Also, I really like this draft, not only in our positions of need, but it's just a deep draft to me

One con to trading out of the 1st, is the 5th year team option that 1st round picks are eligible for. I don't know if that's enough to keep them from doing so, but I'm sure it's a factor.

Speaking of, most of the WRs we could select this year are the same age or older than Stills

True but we'll have them on a rookie deal for four years instead of paying Stills #2 WR money next offseason.

the saints are always copying the patriots. i see them drafting dorsett in the second round. So that they can have their on version of edelman and amendola

How so? When it comes to the draft, these two teams can't be more opposite over the last 5 years or so.

each time I caught a part of a Miami game it seemed like Duke Johnson the RB was their main weapon. I'll bet Dorsett would be rated higher if Miami had a decent QB throwing to him.

he has a higher YPC from 2014 than most of the guys in this WR class (24.2)

I think only Devin Smith from Ohio St. averaged more.

Dorsett did have 10 TD's last year but only 36 receptions. He was a classic deep threat it sounds like.
