Will Tiger ever win a single PGA tournament again???

In New Orleans and had a conversation with some British guys last night.
I told them that I do not see Tiger ever winning another PGA tour event let alone a major..
He simply can't stay healthy and his game is not built to sustain 4 rounds of quality golf anymore.
What says the board? Will Tiger ever win another PGA tour event?? Not bashing the man.. But I say no. I think he retires in the next 5-7 years

i think never again is over the top in that he could easily string together 4 rounds --- but surely hes not the force he once was and i wouldnt be shocked if he retires sooner rather than later if health continues to nag.

I remember that.
Tiger will win a few tournaments and a couple of majors.
I don't think he will catch Jack.

I can see this. He's still an excellent golfer.

We're less than 2 years removed from him winning 5 times and player of the year, and now he'll never win another tour event?
He'll win another event, and he'll likely win at least one major. I don't think he'll catch Jack anymore though.

quote:Just 2 years ago he was the PGA player of the year and won 5 events (hehateme2285 beat me to it). You don't think that he'll when a single event again? It's highly improbable that he doesn't win an event again; therefore, if I was those British guys, I would think that you either didn't follow golf at all or just illogical.

Assuming his back/knees hold up and he regains some semblance of his swing, he'll win on the Tour again.
He's lost the big edge of the players fearing him in majors. His last major W was the US Open in 2008. Let's see what he does if he tees it up at Augusta.

Definitely, he will pass Snead for sure.

wouldn't be surprised either way ... no more wins or catches snead/jack ...

I think he might get a few more PGA wins but probably never another major.
I wouldn't be surprised if he came out and announced that several vertebra in his back are nearly gone. Knees are probably shot and he no doubt is suffering from other physical golf related injuries.
His mental edge is long gone. That fire is no longer there.
He should hang it up while he still has some what of a good body.

A 25 year old can recover from those injuries easier than a nearly forty year old. Once a persons back goes out, it is nearly impossible to recover from it.

You're preaching to the choir. I had to quit playing 10 years ago because of lower back issues. And I'm on the far North side of 40

I hear ya man. I had tennis elbow a couple of years back, it got so bad that I could barely pick-up a cup coffee.
I got back good but I now have to wear an elbow brace. Somehow, it now seems my golf shots are now going a lot straighter. The clowns I play with are now whining saying 'no fair', they are saying its a golf aid.
I had to scale back my golfing though, it was either golf or coffee.
