A/C Repair Recommendation

Figured I would get better response on here, so does anybody have a good A/C repair recommendation in Baton Rouge?
Came home last Thursday and drain pan full of water. Emptied it, little bleach down the pipe and all was good. Came home last night and drain pan was full again. Emptied again and ran the A/C. There is a slow drip into the pan, but most of the water was running down the drain pipe.
Thanks!

In the summer your AC will make gallons of water a day. If the unit is dripping sounds like your drain line is plugged and needs to be cleaned. Is pour a bunch of drano down it first.
The pan that you are emptying is the secondary safety collection point incase the regular drain line plugs. There should be little to no water in the pan.
This thread reminds me I need to go pour drano in all my AC drain lines.

Just pour drain down the pipe. All types of bugs and shite live in there for The winter.

Condensate drain is most likely plugged. Mine is plugged right now as well. I'm about to climb in the attic and repipe it right now.

Mom's had too many 90's in the plumbing. I was able to change them out with some 45s and straight runs. On humid days that thing flows like a faucet now. But it works better, that's for sure!

I have always said that finding an HONEST A/C guy is like finding a pile of hundred dollar bills.
Call Billy Tugwell of Tugwell Mechanical.225-328-0713
He has done residential and commercial repairs and installs for me for years. Once called him out for a unit that someone had tripped over the float wire and pulled the plug out. He plugged it in and had unit working in two minutes. Wouldn't take money for the call.

Billy did some work for when I lived in BR. I don't remember the details, but he found something very minor and fixed our a/c very cheap. He could've made anything up and charged an arm and a leg, but he didn't.

Accutemp AC and refrigeration. Nicest people and get the job done.

That's why I said finding an honest one is literally worth hundreds of dollars.

Try the drain-o route as suggested and follow that with some really hot water. Also, there is an internal drain pile between your clean out and the unit, may have to take the panel off to access. Sometimes insulation gets loose and falls in and that will clog it up. If you have good drainage from where you pour bleach etc, trace it back to the unit, usually not more than 6-12 inches of pipe.
