Most expensive speeding ticket you've had or seen?

I've had 2-3 ever. Just learned I owe the fine Town of Welsh, LA $194 for going 15 over on I-10. It's probably correct but I was trying to pass a truck spewing rocks.
That seems a bit excessive to me; like way excessive.
$200 for 15 over on an interstate?

I just got my first speeding ticket for 10 over just outside of Jena. It was $400. I lost it, I'm 27 years old with a perfectly clean driving record and there was no visible speed limit sign in the area. Meaning I turned off a road that was 65 to a road that was 55, and there was no sign the 3 miles I was on it when pulled over. I was not happy, but just smiled and let him do his thing. I have been working to get this reduced for a month.

Just being honest here, I think I have 4 tickets on my record and have gotten about 7 total. Most of them in a bullshite zone around BR and 1 in gump land . All have run around 180-240

It guess $194 for 15 over is not too bad.
Absolutely ridiculous.

Not speeding but I got a red light camera ticket in Beverly Hills that was over $500 in the mid 2000s. I ignored it but goddamn!

$275 for going 26 over.
Speed went down from 55 to 45 only when the flashing lights were on. To this day, I swear those lights were not flashing.

This morning I heard about the guy in Finland that got the $60,000 dollar speeding ticket. Fines are apparently income based over there.

I got caught doing 78 in a 55 (the speed limit had dropped from 65 less than a mile before). The ticket was supposed to be like $220 or something absurd.
I ended up getting it reduced because I showed up for my court date to contest it and it was my first offense.

I know someone who got a ticket for over $4000 and lost his license (road racing in Japan). In some countries, fines are proportional to your income so people get hit with tickets in the hundreds of thousands: https://www.gizmag.com/the-worlds-most-expensive-speeding-fine/14981/
Edit: Permanent confiscation laws make for expensive tickets as well... that probably makes the confiscated Veyron owner the winner for most expensive ticket.

$440.00 on US77 near Saritas, TX.
102 in a 55 work zone. There were no workers present. I had to return to appear before the judge.

I got one in my early 20s that was 650. Had one before that that was in the 400 range.

I forget the exact price because I ended up getting out if it, but 84 in a 45.
It was near $500.

Can we add a bench warrant to the total?

Got on for 577 dollars for going 93 in a 65 in Southern VA back in the summer of 2004. My dad still gives me shite for that. Got one for 180 Euros in Stuttgart in 2010. It came with a 30 day suspension or the option to double the fine. So 360 Euros (about 520 dollars at the time, give or take).

Got a couple when I was younger that were in the 300's. This was the "pay this and we'll move it off your driving record rate". Not sure if that is more expensive than the normal rate. Both were 85mph in some BS 60mph "construction zone".
