Anywhere near st. Claude and franklin

Yeah, they've got that Mega Bus stop right there at Elysian Fields and St. Claude.
??

My brother-in-law from out of state called me one day and said that he had a cousin who was riding the Mega Bus and would be dropped off at that corner at 1:00 a.m. on a Friday. Said she and her 12 yo daughter would need to hang out until 7:00 a.m. to catch the next bus out. He asked me if that area was safe for them!

Needless to say, I went and picked them up and brought them home for a few hours before waiting with them for the next bus!

We have an old school but fairly younger(under 40)poster that lives in a house on Baronne on the uptown side of the interstates. Nice place with super easy access to everything. 5 min bike ride literally gets him Quarters, Magazine street bar hot spot, Freret st, anywhere really. Can walk to the Rouses WHD and shop if he really wants.

I have a friend who lives out there. Her place is nice, but I wouldn't live there.

My young, blonde Loyola attending niece took that bus into town from Austin once. I picked her and her friend up for my SIL but recommended they use another mode of transportation in the future.

BTW: she reported absolutely no trouble

I was involved in an attempted armed robbery on New Orleans Street in New Orleans, no joke. Good thing I run a 4.4 40 yd dash or I wouldn't be posting here.

True that. Good neighborhood but, without a doubt, the worst streets in the city.

Sounds like a peach of a city.
