Iowa is picturesque with quaint small towns and vibrant cities

Except Arlington. I watch The Bachelor. Seeing them show his hometown....WOW that made me depressed just watching it. NO restaurants in the town, NO bars, NO coffeeshops. Town population of like 400 people. Nearest place to even watch a movie is an hour drive away. NO THANK YOU

Yeah I don't get all the CA hate. That state is gorgeous. Has to be the state with the most variety of scenery imo.

Agreed. If money was no object, you'd find me somewhere along the central CA coast.

North Dakota by a landside for me.

I agree with this. I have been up there in the dead of winter a few times for work, and never ever would I ever want to live there.

That's like saying you wouldn't live in NOLA because of Livingston trash. Not one state is homogenous

I'm glad the stereotypes have perpetuated. Please continue to think LP is trash so that we do not have to house the NOLA thugs, drug dealers and government dependees like you are proud of doing.

Yep, definitely no drug dealers or government dependees in the LP.

LIVINGSTON- It's not mystery methamphetamines are a problem in Livingston Parish.

Livingston Parish Sheriff Willie Graves said, "Certainly, per capita, we probably make more arrests on these types of drug-related cases than most people do."

"The meth problem has been an increased factor for us in the district in the last ten years or so," said 21st Judicial District Attorney Scott Perrilloux.

Chief Judge Bob Morrison said, "The overwhelming majority of cases that involve meth, in whatever form, come in Livingston Parish."

If California had the responsible governance and excellent business climate that Texas has, it would be the best place on Earth to live and I would move there in a heartbeat.

Mississippi.

And I'm willing to bet most of the people that say California have never been here.

So are you going to tell me that there is not a single craphole town in Louisiana that is like that?

You watch a TV show and base your opinion of a state on that? I've seen Duck Dynasty and True Blood, no way I'd want o live in the South with all you crazies, except I have been to BR and NO and know that they are actually pretty cool places with some decent people.

Vermont

Late to the party, but why would you not want to live in Vermont?

It is a beautiful state with a handful of ski resorts and a beautiful college town in Burlington located right on Lake Champlain with the Adirondacks directly across the lake to the west and the Green Mountains to the east. It serves as a great backdrop.

Relax...it was a joke....about Arlington

I didn't say I based my opinion on Iowa off that crap town. I said "except Arlington" when you said Iowa was cool.

Pretty sure all she said was that Iowa is nice except for one small town. All states have them. Don't get your panties in a wad.
