Spinoff: How does one cop pull over multiple vehicles at a time?

I've seen this countless times but I've never watched it in action. How does a cop do this? If I'm summoned by a cop to pull over along with multiple other cars and someone does pull over, I'm continuing my drive. What is he going to do - tell the one who pulled over to kindly stay there while he comes after me and brings me back to the original location?
Maybe I'm stupid but I just don't see how cops are able to do this. What's more, I don't see why multiple people actually listen and pull over once the first one does.

Happened to me once
He pulled me over first and then flagged the other guy to pull over
I assume if the other guy had kept going, the cop would have gone after him and maybe let me go. Doubt it though

My wife is a teacher. She got pulled over in the school zone at 7am on the way to school. Light had literally just started blinking. Cop waves another person over while she was pulled over and she started yelling to the other car that the cop didn't radar them. Cop threatened to arrest my wife.

Congrats on just getting your drivers license but this is common.

shite is ridiculous. I've seen cops walk out in the middle of the INTERSTATE and do that shite. If they get hit is the driver at fault? PRetty dumb to step in the road with people going 70+ mph

Happened to me. I assume if one car keeps going, he's gonna go after that one.

If the cop is on the side of the road couldn't you just claim that you didn't see him?
