Spinoff: If a close friend/family member won the Powerball... Would you ask?

My close circle is already in agreement that we'll be thought of. How far outside of that is too far to ask for a cut?
Me, if it someone on my Facebook friends list, they owe me.

Would that be trashy?
Posted on 2/11/15 at 7:50 pm to Kankles
Hell no. That is pathetic to ask. Scruffy isn't pathetic.

asking for something you didnt earn is trashy.... but so is playing powerball, so its a lose lose

Why?

Facebook is trashy

Something they didn't earn...how again is that earning the money? It's gambling not working for it.
Already told all close friends that if I win they are set. Got a buddy and we both agreed that we would help the other. No prob there.

No. If it was someone close to me I have no doubt they would help me if I needed it though.

They don't have to ask $200,000,000 buys enough hookers and blow for everyone to get their fill

I love these powerball threads

The first things I have to pay-off are the "girlfriends." That's probably going to cost a lot, but not nearly as much as half would. Family should be cheap.

No, I wouldn't ask. Seems trashy
Posted on 2/11/15 at 8:10 pm to Kankles
Hell no. I wouldn't ask or expect shite. That's their money to do as they please.

No, I would never ask for money except in the most dire situations...and then only if due to medical expenses or something beyond my control...
If I were to ever win a very large lottery, however, my plans would be to make about 35 of my closest friends and family members immediate millionaires...

I wouldn't ask for money even if my sister won.

I've told my friends everyone will get a set number depending on how close of a friend they are and by they I mean 10-15 friends
Family they will get more if they are with first cousin status

I would never ask, and if it wasn't immediate family, I'd probably give it to charity. I don't want to be in someone's debt.
Posted on 2/11/15 at 8:34 pm to Kankles
Don't expect a dime from anyone, no matter how close they are.
Posted on 2/11/15 at 8:37 pm to Kankles
I'd probably expect something if a parent or sibling won, but I wouldn't ask anyone for anything.
And by expect, I don't mean deserve or anything, just that I doubt any immediate family member would not give something to each other. My brother would be the cheapest, though.
Eta: and since this is the third thread ive seen cousins mentioned, I have to say that that seems a little wacky. I have a few close cousins that I'd probably hook up, but yall are either super generous, or don't have that many cousins to include all of them in your generosity.

No. If they want to come to me and throw something my way, I'll accept it, but I won't bring it up.
