id probably laugh and MAYBE talk to the coach (while laughing) to make her aware of the "issue" because it is pretty clear this is an innocent mistake.

Honestly I'd probably chuckle because it's pretty easy to forecast the shite-storm that's gonna be coming from some of the more uptight parents on the team.

Your daughter's coach is a moron.

Those 6-7 year olds aren't reading that on FB. Not a fan, but not worth causing a fuss.

I'd tell her it's inappropriate in the most lighthearted way possible, and make sure either me or the child's mother were present at every team function (probably would be doing this anyway). Also keep an ear out for my daughter using off color phrases like this in case the coach actually says stuff like this around the kid (doesn't sound likely).

I would also share pics of the coach with the OT so we could give you even better advice.

That is pretty bad. Does the coach even know what that means?

She might not have meant anything dirty by it, but it's a poor choice of wording IMO.

That saying can be used in a non sexual way, but its roots are in a sexual act. In today's world, you should keep like kind of stuff separate from anything involving children.

1. Agree totally inappropriate, but the lady is neither a professional mom nor a professional coach, so if you don't want her around your kid, move them elsewhere. There's tons of girls teams around.

2. The fact that anyone gives a crud about what the record is for 6 year olds playing any sport tells me that you are in for a rough future.

Let kids be kids.

Poor choice of words and I'm sure it was an innocent mistake. I would be more upset that someone was posting a video of my daughter on FB without my permission.

Something tells me the coach doesn't understand the meaning of that phrase.

Whether or not these kids are on FB should not influence your reaction. We are talking about "cherry popping" being posted under a video of 6 year old girls. While adults get the reference, the comment is wholly inappropriate when being used to publicly refer to a 6 year old girls team's first win.

The post should be removed/edited, board notified (already occurred) and a final decision made relative to whether the coach remains involved with the program.

I don't think it's appropriate. But I've seen worse.

And 6 year olds should not be on Facebook, so, I'm not sure who can get offended.
