shut it up for a while lol. I mean really.
When someone says a team is a well-coached team they are REALLY complimenting all the players' prior coaches along with how the player has picked it all up
it is so trendy to say he doesn't know his X's and O's just LIKE EVERYONE did with Dale Brown
absurd. Tonight their half-court offense was Spurs-like lol
LSU is undoubtedly trending lol.
When you got the bigs, the X's and O's become rather simplistic

I thought Billy D was a coaching God and his team looked terrible.

Yep, Johnny Jones = Gregg Poppovich
Jordan Mickey > Tim Duncan

Awful post bro lol
Johnny coached em great tonight but we can still critisize him for shitty coaching versus mizzou and a&m. Let's face it, with our talent compared to the rest of the league, we should be 5-0 right now.

Shaq and Stanley Roberts disagree!

i just thought LSU and the Spurs sounded funny in the same sentence.
Pardon, it just trips me out how football savvy everyone is, yet absurd in hoops.
Tim Quarterman was a bust to some fans prior to the season. Any dude who remains at PG and is fast and 6'6" is nothing but a matter of time
I for one, have no idea of JJ's prowess in the ole X's and O's department is. Cause there is no way to really tell.
You can't pour everything you know on some kids. You have to pick some things you can be good at, and preach those.
Many coaches sacrifice some of the X's and O's so they can consistently challenge their team physicality to out-hustle and out-defend their opponents. It takes a lot of attention to monitor each player's hustle.
You also have to keep it simple when you have a team of frosh and soph that must master your plan
The one guy hitting three's was the only one taking them for the most part. That was cool.

His team jacked up 13 3's (most in the first 15 seconds of the shot clock) when we had a 13 point lead. He never took a TO and didn't yank players for poor shot selection. He deserved criticism.
On the other hand, tonight he pulled Gray for being careless with the ball, used timely timeouts and slowed the team down on the offensive end with a double digit 2nd half lead. He should be credited for making coaching adjustments. It should cut both ways.

Actually, he is good coach but not a motivator like Dale Brown. LSU losses to A&M and Missouri were lack of effort.

Let's see what happens next time a team plays zone against us

Also, we hit 61.5% from 3 and 94.4% of our free throws. That isn't X's and O's.

He'd be criticized if these were bad numbers. First stat is good play calling and shot selection by the players. 2nd one is practice time.

i will agree on the first point, insomuch as it was "Shoot a contested 3 ball in the second half and you will run laps inside Mike the Tiger's cage!"
On the second point, that percentage would make you one of the best free throw shooters in history.
Beyond all of that, Florida did play a really bad game and got jobbed by the refs, and I think you will agree since you know a thing or two about this game.
