I'm convinced you have some type of personal issue with the guy now. Bama was scoring in the 40's and 50's with regularity that season. Holding them to 21 is a good game. It's literally making my brain hurt to see what kind of standard you are holding them to.
His game in Tuscaloosa was a masterpiece. One of the best defensive performances I have seen in my life. If you want to say he didn't get outcoached in the second meeting like the rest of the staff, go ahead. But he did.
He and the defense were better than the offense that night, but I just hate seeing how amazing he was in that game getting tossed around in the NOLA article as an excuse to leave. His blood got spilled that night, too.
As for you, you seem very concerned with running to his message board defense. He should start paying you by the word.

It's a rough life being a coach at LSU.

Man, I'm sorry... but expectations are crazy. Even when we won our Natty Florida State scored 16... and that was more than a decade before the last. Look at the semi final games this year, everyone is scoring in the 40's. That's the nature of the game now. That's doing enough. That '11 Defense was crazy because you held everyone so low and scored or set up scores so much. I still think it's better than the '11 Bama defense. However, both of those defenses are probably the best in my lifetime.

Dude. I was cheering for UT that night and was happy you guys won, but you got off easy. Their backup QB sucked. That would have been a very different challenge if Weinke had been able to play.

"(Chavis) threw his hands up and felt he'd done all he could do," one source said. "They made zero progress offensively and it became a sore point, not that he was pointing fingers, but it led to some uncomfortable feelings.
"I think the thing that still gnaws at him was the BCS championship game (in 2012 that LSU lost 21-0), where he holds Alabama out of the end zone for the longest time. He felt, 'What else could I do?'" In that game, Alabama kicked five field goals before finally scoring a touchdown late in the fourth quarter.
Don't blame him one damn bit and this should worry fans.
As for the BCS game, I remember thinking at halftime how glad I was that Chavis was DC and that our defense kept us in the game.
As for our defenses last year and this year, they started out young and dumb but DID improve during the year. One thing we have seen out of his defenses is improvement each year during the season. That's coaching.

I'm not going to argue with you about a game from 2 decades ago.

I didn't see where he took responsibility for the previous year. How many times did Les sell out Chavis when asked how we lost a single game in 2013 with Mett, Landry, ODB, and Hill on offense? NEVER. If Chavis was/is talking that way, he's a fricking coward and definitely needed to go.
LSU - 4 wins
aTm - 0 wins
You idiots can flame away but the wins are all that matters.

HOWEVER, go back and watch the first quarter of that game. Chavis is full of shite. Alabama ran roughshod over his shell shocked D in between the 20s ALL NIGHT. He looked just as bad as the offensive staff in that first half. The D just managed to stem the bleeding by holding up in the red zone and forcing FGs.
Umm.. So you're bitching because he had good red zone defense?

Very funny. I don't imagine Chief had any problem with LSU offense last year (2013) when the offense was great and the defense very sub-par.

He sees that Jennings will start the next 3 years and doesn't want to deal with the shite offense

LSU offered Chavis a three-year extension worth $1.33 million annually, but money was never a factor in him leaving LSU.
Another source said Chavis had pursued the defensive coordinator job at South Carolina, his native state, and that his wife had never moved to Baton Rouge from the couple's ranch in Knoxville, Tenn. But ultimately Texas A&M "threw too much money" at him with a three-year deal at $1.67 million annually and an option on a fourth season, so he chose the Aggies.
I also wanted to point out I got shite on for saying A&M had to outbid other suitors, not LSU
frick all yall delusional bastards

Damn. Chavis wanted out. It's funny because I always wondered how he had any respect for Les and Cam. I probably mentioned it after every bad LSU offensive performance.

All you sunshine pumpers are funny. Chavis was done with the BS. Can you blame him? Hell no

1 good offense during his entire tenure

He told people Les was the best coach he'd ever worked for and that he loved him," the source said.
Here's the thing, I have heard Chavis say this in interviews, all the other shite says, "the source says."
So why isn't chavis being quoted in this article? He said it rt?
I'm just calling bullshite because this all about a source. Sources are full of shite all the time.
But hey, I know one thing. Les is 4-0 and owns the Aggies. So you guys keep trucking a long there in hopes one day your idiot overpaid coach doesn't out idiot our coach one day.
