I remember feeling so old when I could finally go to Fred's without any hassle. The drinking age was 18 (except for the screwy law about buying at a store--im a lawyer and i still dont understand what the laws were then, but northgate and the places on highland north of campus sold to anyone) anyway, so I didn't have or need a fake id. But you had to be 20 to get into Fred's unless you knew someone. I can't imagine how old I'd feel there now....

Lafayette - corner bar or wherever someone i know is bar tending. Maybe tap room. Daq supreme only because people i know go there, not necessarily my spot.

BR - dont really go out here any more, even though i live here. Probably earls. Maybe bulldog, but it blows. Would like to say Fred's because it's the GOAT. Bogies if i was still under 25 yo max.

When I lived in BR it was Port Royal.

In Austin, it's The 04 Lounge.

I can not recall the new name of the bar but I will always know it as Bridge Lounge in N.O.

When did it change? My buddy used to live on camp right there and we'd walk over all of the time

Roughly within the last year. Now it's a whiskey-centric bar.

Hahaha.. Mine as well.

After the storm, it was Rusty Nail for a bit till it went full on gump central. Then split time between Balcony and Ms. Maes (rip). Its more bulldog (mid city and mag st) now. I know, I'm an old fogy. I'll still throw down at Snake n Jakes when a buddy comes in town to visit though. Fool loves that place.

like 30 years ago. It's on Harrison Ave. It's smokey and nasty

30 years ago it was also very, very cheap.

By far the greatest bar ever. But if I really want something unique, I'll go check out a chili's every now and then. Or if you're looking for shear excitement, there's always an applebee's close by.

I'll throw you a bone. Call it Crooked George's if you want to a 'cool kid'.

My go-to bar is Ivars, Chelseas.
