soon i will eat a coon under the moon and sing a tune in effort to swoon my ole lady for some poon and spoon hoping she won't be a fricking prune in june.

Old boar coon is not good. Gamey and stringy.

Young male or sow coon is good if you mind the hair and get the glands out.

If someone is giving you a coon or you are giving one to somebody tell them to leave the feet on. It's courtesy.

Eat the young ones. Like a different animal than full grown coons.

Also, don't eat subdivision and city coons. Country coons, raised on corn are the best.

About 23 years ago. Got cold on a deerstand and dad let me walk back to the camp. They guys there offered me some bbq. I couldnt get enough of it. Dad got back and my face was covered in bbq sauce. Thats when I found out what it was.

That cracks me up that people have to do that to make sure you arent getting a cat.
