Where did you go? What was it like?
Good food? Charming? (Relatively) affordable?

yes, near Zurich, awesome, yes, a bit pricey

Yes, outside of Interlaken, Switzerland. Compared to the Rockies the scenery is better, but the snow isnt. I remember paying about $100 for a lift pass, so not much different than any decent resort in the US.

St. Moritz. An incredible experience. Fairly pricey. Would I go back? In a second.

Did a trip to Innsbruck, Austria. Cheaper package than going skiing in Colorado. Went to St. Moritz for a day. Day trip to Venice. Would do it all again in a heartbeat.

I went to Utah. It was cool. You need to do this!

Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Innsbruck on the old Olympic course. First time skiing so tough but fun.

Yes.
Chamonix. Very nice, easy to get there. Great food. Very few trees. Beautiful though. Very built up, seemed to have a bit more mass appeal then rustic charm. Actually fairly affordable.
Kitzbuhel. Fantastic. Beautiful, the mountains and the town. Food, beer, and wine outstanding. Extremely charming, it has the picture perfect atmosphere. Also actually fairly affordable. Hope to go again.
Both were more expensive than skiing in the States, however, primarily due to airfare and transit transfers.

Studied abroad in Innsbruck one winter skied all around the area. The lift tickets were much cheaper at all the mountains we skied and the rentals were cheap and pretty high quality. We always went to Axamer Lizum. There are a couple of other close mountains as well. Innsbruck is a pretty fun little town and a close train ride to Munich as well.

I haven't been skiing, but I was just in Grindelwald, Switzerland, in early October and the skiing looked like it would be fun had there been snow. I took one of the gondolas up and it was great. It was a bit pricey in the area, but I would go back there in a heartbeat for the food and skiing in winter.

Zermatt- no cars, two countries, 14k feet. By far the best

Did you make it to a bar called Threissen Brau? We went there every night, hot waitresses. Also, was Zappa's bar still open?

I almost got a handjob in the Alps. Interlaken if you want to go.

I lived in CH for a year and skiied every weekend there. The valais is nice with my favorites being verbier, and portes du soliel. Mt fort is awesome. Saas-fe is a cool city too with glacier skiing. Gstaad is cool in Berne and of course crans-Montana. Grindelwald, davos, and st. Moritz are cool for the names. Depends on where you want to be. Portes du soliel you can ski Italy, ch, and France in the same day

Kitzbuhel Austria It was very nice.
Went last year during Christmas. The snow at the Hannekam was very icy and there was no powder snow to speak of. It was like skiing on concrete. The skiing was not very good at that time. Although this is supposed to be one of the premier ski resorts in the world.
Stayed at the Grand Tiroila. Was an amazing hotel.
Grand Tiroila
Honestly, I would go to Vail and stay at the Four Seasons or to Beaver Creek and stay at the Westin before I traveled to Europe to ski again.

Ive been to Chamomix. Skiing not nearly as good as western US resorts. Beautiful though.

berchtesgaden and garmisch are both amazing. Views crush anything the states have to offer but the snow sucks depending on the time of the year. I'm talking straight ice
Both places have some awesome pubs

Yeah baw, St Moritz, bring your checkbook. The recommendation for Austria is spot on, just as nice and a good bit cheaper.

How do you almost get a handjob? You either get one or you don't.
