Can Michigan wait until the NFL regular season is over for Harbaugh? What if they make the playoffs? That's mid-January before recruiting could kick in for a new coach.

This is one of the main reasons I don't think Harbaugh goes to UM.

IF Miles is a candidate, he isn't going to sit around waiting for Harbaugh to finish the NFL season and deny UM. Just like any other respectable candidate.

That means IMO that UM needs to have a lock solid agreement with Harbaugh soon or they'll move on.

You could've at least made it a multiple choice question.

You definitely need to quit smoking. I smoked for 25 years and was forced to quit due to a four month stay in the hospital. I quit twenty years ago and fell much better. I no longer cough up phlem (sp) plus I can actually taste the food that I'm eating. My scent has greatly improved and I can smell the people that currently smoke. Their clothes smell like an ash tray.

40+ for me. I quit the day after we won the championship in January 2008. COLD TURKEY!!

It can be done, but not until you are ready and committed to quitting.

For what it's worth...my snitch in the athletic department informed me LSU has it under control. It's understood that Les has a decision to make if offered. Athletic department has " a plan A " based on feelers sent this summer. Yes, I said summer.

I wouldn't say this, but you should know that after 20 or so "pack-years", your risk of lung cancer is pretty damn high the older you get.

Also a pack-year is the amount of packs you smoke per day times the number of years you've been smoking. So 20 would be a pack a day for 20 years.

My grandpa smoked two packs a day for 30 years, (60 pack years), and quit when he was 48. Ended up with lung cancer when he was 72 and couldn't believe when the doctors told him it was from smoking since he quit 25 years ago.

He's doing fine now but his COPD is a bitch.

Hopefully they hire Miles. He needs to GTFO of Baton Rouge. LSU needs to be competing for a title basically every year with the talent they pull, not 8-10 wins.
