Cops aren't your boss, you're their boss.
The next time you see a cop, tell him to go pick up your dry cleaning and see how that goes.
I'm assuming you came up with this through your own personal experience? Are you a secretary?

Anyways he has a CC license, I'm considering getting one, and told me to make sure if I get pulled over while carrying to go ahead and tell the cop upfront. Because as we both know, they always ask if you have weapons and it's more reassuring to an a-hole cop if you tell him upfront before he asks.
That's CC law and you have a CC indicator on your DL. Also I've never been asked about weapons when I've been pulled over. My most recent pull over was last TG on I49.

I hope the pig gets shot in the face the next time he rolls up on a "burglary in progress".

This is a case of a normal incident where the black guy wrongly makes it a race issue.
which according to our president justifies rioting.

and the cops asked me if I had "guns" in the car, was that okay
uhm yes. if the stop was based on reasonable suspicion, then the stop was legit. then he can ask you that question. whether you have to answer it is another question that i won't get into.

I always use this example. When I get shitty service or have someone treat me poorly, I never assume it's cause they don't like short white guys. BUT, blacks DO assume it's because the person doesn't like them due to their race. If I walked around and every time someone was an arse to me, I took it to mean they didn't like short white guys, then I would have a shite ton of anecdotal evidence of short white guy bigotry.
It is a victim mentality. My mom was overweight. She would tell me when some store employee was rude to her it was because she was overweight, particularly at a clothing store. I told her everytime it was entirely in her head. That she was not being discriminated against. That she was being ridiculous. She was otherwise a highly intelligent person but could not overcome this victim mentality. I hated it and it pissed me off, but she refused to see reason. The black community is the exact same. It will likely not change for many generations. It is taught from father to son, mother to daughter. This mentality will persist indefinitely. If I pulled a Futurama and woke up in 1000 years, they would still have this mentality.

Fox Butterfield where are you? . . . .
Has it crossed your mind that they are safer because they are more cautious and paranoid, if you prefer that word, about the dangers?

More likely, its due to the continued overall drop in violent crimes
yet we are continually fed the narrative of the worsening danger of the warzone that is the streets of our own country - it justifies the militarization and paranoia that leads to incidents like the recent ones in Columbia SC and elsewhere

Which itself is due to the high incarceration rate of criminals - removing the dangerous from the streets.

This may partially explain the drop in crime, but I think studies have shown that it has far less of an impact than one might expect (if any actual significant impact).

Cops ask about guns (hand grenades and rocket launchers too for that matter) whenever they pull someone over. I always get asked, and yes about hand grenades and rocket launchers too. It's a tactic they use to see how you respond, which hints them if you're hiding something.
Anyone who's watched cop shows knows this. It has nothing to do with racial profiling.

I didn't say they were my bosses, I was using an illustration. They are in a position of authority like a boss.

What state would you be applying for your CC?

I've never been asked, ever.

Oakland PD also has a notoriously bad reputation within that community as well. Which is all their fault.
Well then - perhaps we should just withdraw all cops from the Oakland 'community' and let them work thing out amongst themselves.
If I were a cop, I'd refuse to go to a 'community' who had the notion that I was there to kill them. Let em rape, loot, burn, murder - shite, that is what they want to do because after all there was slavery and kkk stuff that gives them that right forever and ever.
Did I get this right?

So if cops act poorly they should tell the community they're mistreating to just "frick off"? How about they do their job and abide by the laws?
