Democrat Underground: Jonathan Gruber

We really need to get a handle on this Gruber shite before it kills ACA. Even my students are talking about this guy. The right-wingers are all over it and throwing it back in the faces of the Progressives and others I work with. Frankly, I am at a loss for words on how to explain this numbskull and his statements. I am caught completely off guard by this crap.
Gruber's shite is going to bleed out and cover us all if we don't watch out.
I'm a college instructor. I teach history and government. I use current events in both as a link and an illustration. Usually, I start off my class with a topic, but since the Gruber mess broke it's my students, particularly the trouble-making little conservative shits, who have hijacked the classes with Gruber as their main focus. They use his statements and his past association with Obama and ACA as their springboard. I simply can't deny what the fool has said because he's on tape saying it -- calling Americans stupid and saying that ACA is the beneficiary of "a lack of transparency."
My right-wing colleagues are tearing the Progressive caucus up with this shite to the point I'm getting a bit unnerved about it.
Gruber's comments are starting to get some play outside the FauxNews hate realm and that's where the danger is.

he should be 'denied'. More like his influence 'minimized.' As in, every time a Dem is asked about Gruber's remarks, the line should be "Gruber? Who's he?"

Sounds like some of the people I used to teach with.

So much for the university mission of "opening minds".
This instructor is a close minded dung-twit.

at anyone who is surprised to hear that Obama/Dems were lying over ACA.
it was painfully obvious that they were lying the whole time. A simple understanding of high school economics tells you that they were lying.
Of course, I predicted the bursting of the Housing Bubble and coming financial collapse as early as 2004-05 because the basic numbers weren't adding up on the increase in housing prices. I could tell that something was up.
Same held true for this mess. Anyone who didn't know they were lying should have no role in American government or leadership. They are too stupid to lead anything.

When has a Dem not been able to deny/spin/lie their way out of an obvious example of corruption? Under the current admin he should have had more than enough practice. And he calls himself a college intructor. SMH

Reads like a troll post.

I love how this is being posted the same day some people were denying academia is used as a platform to spread progressivism
Posted on 11/14/14 at 9:28 pm to NC_Tigah
I thought liberal academia doesn't try to indoctrinate students to their political bent?
Posted on 11/14/14 at 9:30 pm to goatmilker
Wow, seems this teacher should get in trouble for calling this students that, but suppose that's acceptable in today's academia. Who knows, I couldn't say. Plus, the teacher isn't to upset about what was said by Gruber but just upset at the fact he was caught. On video none the less.
I can't believe this teacher would want to silence democracy like that or down his students for doing what this teacher is suppose to be teaching. Democracy and our Government !!!!!! All because those students disagree with this teachers party, just shameful. It's hard to argue against those who say some democrats think democracy is great until someone disagrees with them. That's on full display right here with this teacher and I'll see what else his thread shows in this democratic hotspot. I've never personally been there beforehand or even a republican hotspot for that matter.

Spoken like a true totalitarian.
He should feel right at home in the Democrat Party.

Think the democrats are set back right now? Try MORE government intervention in health care.
2015 is going to tear people a new a-hole with health care.
