Her now ex husband is ceo and chairman of Continental Resources. He's worth about $14 billion, I don't think he's suffering much.

Screw you, that was funny. And it's not a "troll" if it's obviously a joke, goddamnit people misuse that word.

How can it possibly be less expensive to run two households on the same income you had maintaining one? Yes its a bad financial decision, so people must make it for other reasons.

well sure. religious folk never get divorced, nor do they lie, or philander, or covet, etc. Judging others is A-Ok though.

He didn't say he's inherently better than you, he indicated that him and his wife didn't view divorce as an option.

Just because people of faith screw up a lot and fall short of their lofty ambition doesn't mean it's better to not set any standards for yourself.

Think of it as Mutually Assured Destruction. The good news is that you can eventually recover. Credit can take a hit for awhile, but it gets better, too.

I know, just find it interesting.

His ex wife became one of the richest women in America because of a divorce settlement

I think most of us would agree that divorce is sometimes the only good option, but it often breaks up families over petty stuff.

Usually the "good" divorce situations I see are where one person is totally destructive. The worst are where two immature people (with kids) just won't pull their shite together to see if they can both mature enough to make the family function.

Oh no!

You got 20 million and your wife want 10? Big deal! You ain’t starvin’.

But if you make 30,000 and your wife want 15...you might have to kill her.

Amen!

She cheated and I had proof. I tried to stay with her for the kids. Kids can usually sense when their parents don't love each other. I know mine did.

Best decision that I ever made was leaving her.

I will say this...technology is amazing.

The night that I recovered all of her deleted sext messages was the one of most painful moments of my life. But it sure helped in the court case.
